Rats are one of the most successful mammals on the planet, making them a real pest when they take up residence near (or in) our homes. Here is the problem.. with rats comes destruction and diseases. Amongst eleven other diseases, they are a carrier of Veils Disease which is dangerous to humans. They also have the ability to burrow through many materials and cause extensive damage to property.
Unfortunately rats have evolved to become immune to most ‘over the counter’ poisons that are available without licence. So trying to control these pests in such a way is almost futile.
TPC has successfully controlled rat infestations on many farms, as well as small holdings and even public houses! Usually just 2 to 3 visits a week over 4 weeks is enough to control numbers and drive the rats back away from property or food stocks. Rats are quite clever creatures and tend not to hang about in areas where they see danger.
We then make visits once every couple of weeks just to keep the rat numbers at bay.
