The control of foxes in the UK remains a contentious issue.
The fact is they are another one of nature’s survivors. Helped in part by the waste food we humans throw into our bins. This has for years fed the local fox population helping them thrive to the point of becoming a pest.
Although well fed by us, it doesn’t stop the fox’s natural opportunistic tendencies when it comes to predating on local livestock. Especially young lambs & poultry. A big cost to farmers across the UK. Not to mention distressing to find the poor lambs half eaten and still alive.
Although much less common, foxes do also attack humans and pets.
Subject to land checks, TPC can humanely control problem foxes using high power moderated rimfire and centrefire rifles.
