Hares

Similar to rabbits, the numbers of Hares vary and are found in patches of our countryside. In some of these areas where hares are in high numbers they often cause widespread crop damage and thusly require control.

Although there is no specific closed season for the dispatch of Hares, there is a season (between the months of March and July inclusive) where it is unlawful to kill Hares in order to sell. Although this does not inhibit the killing of Hares as pests, Targeted Pest Control discourages Hare control during these months wherever practicable.

Depending on the size and topography of your land, TPC utilises high power moderated air rifles and moderated rimfire rifles to humanely dispatch these pests.
